People, people, people...

I have a little bit of an obsession with photos of people. 

Not necessarily the posed ones, although I like the more artsy ones. 

I love all the little details in a persons photograph. How someone can capture a thought or a memory. 

I love it when you get a really great photo out of just randomly snapping the camera around friends and family. I love how you can capture that moment of joy or that split second when they think you're not watching. 
I find people so intriguing, I love to find out about someone's little hidden quirks the way they like to eat fries with ice cream or they have to stick their toes out the blanket to be able to sleep. I like finding I have things in common with people and I like when things just click into place when you don't.

There's something so magical about the unexpected. These last few photos I took myself last easter. I saw this little girl trying to fly her kite with no wind, she was so far away from me but I just had to take a photo.

Then as we travelled further along the rocks I saw this amazing chance for a photo.

So when I got home and I had a closer look I saw all the people going about their day on the beach. There's all this amazing detail, it's so great.

Did you notice the little boy doing a cartwheel? The kids jumping the waves? There's so much going on down there. This photo always amazes me. More and more everytime I look at it :)
