Holiday Memories...

I can't help thinking of this time last year. 

On the 4th of July last year I left little old (or rather new really) Adelaide airport headed for Phuket, Thailand with 20 odd friends and family. 

No, you didn't read that wrong there was indeed around 20 of us. It was a bit of a birthday present for my Aunty Mandy's (right) 40th. She even made us all these great T-shirts that said Mandy's 40th Phuket Posse on the front and had all our names on the back.

We stayed at the Katathani Beach Resort for 10 nights then we travelled by boat to a little place called Phi Phi Island. It is a tiny island right near Phuket small enough for you to be able to walk across to the other side of the island that holds only a few resorts.

We stayed there for 4 nights.

While we were at Katathani we got up to all kinds of mischief.

Restaurant trips.

Lazing by the beach.

Day trips to ride Elephants and Quad Bikes.

Shopping trips... The photo is from one of the days we went shopping. There were these Thai people on the side of the road in hammocks and at tables and it was really pretty. Unfortunately because we were in the van (because there was so many of us we had to hire out min bus/van things) I couldn't get a good picture.

Hot days exploring temples and giant Buddha.

An amazing Sea Kayaking trip.

I am very, very proud of taking this photo haha

It was so cute the mummy monkeys were teaching their babies to hunt and find food :)

On the night of my aunties birthday we ate at the resort resturant and afterwards we went down to the beach and set off a whole heap of fire works a lanterns. It would have to be one the funniest things I have ever witnessed purely because of the antics involving my pop while trying to light the fireworks.

Once we were on Phi Phi Island we had a few lazy days by the pool drinking glorious mocktails/cocktails and stuffing ourselves full of wonderful food.

And we had a visit to "the other side of the island"
