'We're smiling but we're close to tears'

Well greetings everybody, how has your day been? Good? Good :) well yesterday and Wednesday I was at the Royal Adelaide Show, showing some steers (cows) and goats, which my school had trained up. We have to wash them, lead them round, take them into the grand parade for all to see and then get them judged. I guess it's kind of like a carnival type thing, there are rides and all that too, but the reason I went was for the animals. We had two steers that we brought to be judged a Murray Grey named Kyle and a South Devon named Luke. They both did pretty well, one winning a 3rd the other winning a 5th. Between our 5 goats we won two 4th place ribbons, which I think ispretty awesome because we bred them ourselves. Hmm yes well all the animals are dead by now because they get judged for on hoof, which is when they are led by us and on hook which is their carcass. People did cry, but I laughed at them because I'm 'heartless', hehee.
